1981 - The first woman to land a triple-triple jump combination.
1984 - She became the first woman to land five major jumps in competition.
1985 - She won her first national championship in Ice Skating.
1988 - She placed 5th at the Winter Olympics held in Calgary, Canada.
1989 - She earned gold medal at World Championships.
1992 - She became the first woman to land a triple-axel in the Olympics.
