Irving, William
1766 - Born in New York Cityon the 15th of August.
- William completed preparatory studies, engaged in mercantile pursuits, and also in fur trade with the Indians along the Mohawk River, residing at Johnstown and Caughnawaga.
1763 - He returned to New York City and was elected as a Republican to the Thirteenth Congress to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Egbert Benson.
1814-1819 - He was reelected to the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Congresses and served from January to March.
1821 - Died on the 9th of November.
