1925 - Leroy Harold Scherer Jr. was born on the 17th of November in Winnetka, Illinois.
1933 - When he was eight years old, his parents, an auto mechanic and a telephone operator, divorced

- During the WWII, he was a navy plane mechanic. After the war, he became a truck driver in Los Angeles usually spending idle time outside studio gates and sending photographs of himself to various producers.

1985 - He died on the 2nd of October at Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California because of AIDS.
