1967 - Audrey Faith Perry was born September 21st in Jackson, Mississippi, to parents Ted, a factory worker, and Edna, a former bank employee. Faith took her singing abilities to family reunions and gatherings, local rodeos and fairs, church, school, virtually wherever she had an audience while growing up in Star, Mississippi.

1975 - Making her debut as a musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" on October 12th, Sarah Michelle Gellar is the guest host.

1986 - At the age of 19, she headed to Nashville to realize her dream, where she worked as a gofer for Reba McEntire.

1988 - Married her first husband, Daniel Hill on July 23rd.

1993 - Signed with Warner Brother Records, Faith's first album, entitled "Take Me As I Am", sold 2 million copies and spawned such number one hits as "Wild One" and a rendition of rocker Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart".
 
1994 - Faith has already received the Academy of Country Music Award for Favorite New Female.

         - Divorced her husband, Daniel Hill.

1996 -  Faith performed in the closing ceremonies of the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, sang the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXIV and performed at this year's Oscar ceremony.

         - When Tim McGraw proposed, in one of the trailers, he had to go perform, so she wrote her response on the mirror (reportedly with either a lipstick or a marker pen). They were married on October 6th.

1997 - Chosen by "People" magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world.

1998 - Received the TNN/Music City News Single of the Year for "This Kiss".

1999 - She was named Female Vocalist of the Year by TNN/Music City News, among many other awards and honors.

2002 - Had the role of Mel Gibson's wife in "We Were Soldiers", but left the film and was replaced by Madeleine Stowe.

2005 - Named #29 in FHM's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005" special supplement.

2006 - Named #48 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006" supplement.
