Sir Francis Bond is a British army officer and reactionary colonial administrator in Canada.
1793 - Bond Head was born 1st of January.
1811-1825 - Served as soldier in the British army and attempted to set up a mining company in Argentina.
Married to Lady Bond Head, and had two children.
1836 - Appointed Lieutenant-Governor of Upper Canada.
1837 - Bond Head sent the colonial militia to put down the rebellion.
Lived at Duppas Hall, overlooking Duppas Hill in Croydon, where he organized protests against the proposed outlawing of horse-riding in the area.
1875 - Sir Francis Bond Head, 1st Baronet died 20th of July.
