Güyük was the third Mongol great khan, son of Ögedei Khan.
Served as a military officer, as did the other senior princes of the Mongol Empire.
1233 - Conquered Puxian Wannu's Dongxia Kingdom.
1236-1241 - Participated in the invasion of Russia and Europe with many of the other Mongol princes.
1246-1248 - Became the ruler of Mongol Empire.
