Grey, Jane, Lady
1537 - Born at Bradgate Park near Leicester on an unknown date.
1549 - She fell under the control of John Dudley, duke of Northumberland, who married her to his youngest son, Lord Guilford Dudley.
1553 - On the 10th of July , four days after Edward's death, Lady Jane's supporters proclaimed her to be Queen. It soon became clear that Edward's half-sister Mary Tudor had far greater support, and after a "reign" of nine days Lady Jane Grey relinquished the crown.
- Titular queen of England for nine days.
1554 - Died on the 12th of February.
