1907 – Albert Arnold Gore, Sr. was born 26th of December in Granville, Tennessee.

1953-1971 – Served as Senator from Tennessee.
1970-1972 – Resumed the practice of law with Occidental Petroleum Company and became Vice President and member of the board of Directors, taught law at Vanderbilt University
1972 – Chairman of Island Creek Coal Co., Lexington, Kentucky.
– Operated an antiques store in Carthage.
1998 – He died 5th of December and buried in Smith County Memorial Gardens in Carthage.
