1692 – Born in Pirano, a town on the peninsula of Istria, in the Republic of Venice.


         – Considered to be a music theorist.


         – Never put dates on his compositions and revisions. The Order of his works are based on the stylic charachteristics of his music.


1710 – He married Elisabetta Premazone. A woman his father would have disapproved of because of her lower social class and age difference.


1721 – He was appointed Kapellmeister at Il Santo in Padua.


1726 – Tartini started a violin school which attracted students from all over Europe.


1750 – End of his life he published various treatises.
