1883 - Born on the 9th of August in Montana.
1903 - Chester was a good student, but never found an enthusiasm for his studies, and he left the academy after two years.
1905 - Began working at his uncle's prosperous business, the Gillette Skirt Factory, in the spring.
1906 - After taking Brown out boating in 1906 in Moose Lake in Herkimer County, New York, Gillette returned alone, and gave varying explanations for what had occurred. Brown's body was found the next day, and Gillette was arrested in nearby Inlet.
1908 - Gillette was executed in 1908 in Auburn Prison by electrocution, died on the 30th of March.
