1938 - Clark Gesner, born on the 27th of March. He was an intensely private and often enigmatic composer, lyricist, and occasional performer.

1999 - You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown grew out of Mr. Gesner's love for the comic strip characters. The show was revived and brought to Broadway.

2002 - He died on the 23rd of July from a heart attack, aged 64.
