1923 - George married Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, who bore him two daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret.
1936 - He was proclaimed as the King of England and the last emperor of India.
1944 - He was seen in the movie The Memphis Belle: A Story of a Flying Fortress.
1952 - Died from lung cancer on February 6th in Sandringham, Norfolk, England.
