1950 - Born on the 5th of March in Turkey Creek, Colorado.
1972 - He went on to win first prize in the International Paganini Competition in Italy, at the age of 22.
1974 - He achieved the highest prize awarded in the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, Russia.
1999 - Fodor was also awarded the European Soloist award "Prix Europeen du Soliste" in January.
