1927 – He (Peter Michael Falk) was born on the 16th day of September this year. He attended Ossining High School in Westchester County, NY and was president of his class.

 

1951 - After graduating, he joined the United States Merchant Marine as a cook, before completing a Bachelor of Arts in political science at the New School for Social Research in this year.

 

1953 – He gained  a Masters degree in public administration at Syracuse University in 1953, he applied unsuccessfully for a job with the CIA before becoming a management analyst with the Connecticut State Budget Bureau in Hartford.

 

1956 – After deciding to be an actor and studying at the White Barn Theatre in Westport, Connecticut, in 1956 at the age of 29, he left his job with the Budget Bureau and moved to Greenwich Village.

 

1958 – He first starred “Wind across the Everglades”,

 

1959 – He appeared in the movie “The Bloody Brood” in this year.

 

1960 – He married Alice Mayo on April 17 of this year and has two daughters, Catherine (who is a real life private investigator) and Jackie. He also starred in the films “Pretty Boy Floyd” and “Murder, Inc.” both in this year. Falk has been nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for Murder, Inc.

 

1977 – He and Mayo were divorced in this year, on December 7, 1977 he married Shera Danese. Falk has been nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award twice, for Murder, Inc., and Pocketful of Miracles.

 

1990 – He started this year with the movie “Spirit”. He made various films starting this year until the next decade.

 

2000 – He appeared in the TV shows “ From Where I Sit” and “A Storm in Summer” both in this year.

 

2001 – He starred in “Corky Romano” this year, 3 Days of Rain and Undisputed both in 2002, and Checking Out in 2004.

 

2004 – He made voice over job in the film “Shark Tale”.

 

2007 – His latest film was the movie “Next”.
