Ewell, [Harold] Norwood(Barney)
1918 - Born on the 25th of February in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
1939 - He won 11 gold medals in Amateur Athletic Union national meets.
1940 - He won 12 gold medals and championships in collegiate meets in Pennsylvania State University,
Pennsylvania.
1942 - He was an outstanding long jumper.
1947 - He returned to the Pennsylvania State University and received his Bachelor of Science degree.
1948 - He surprised everyone by making it to the Olympic team.
1996 - Died on the 4th of April in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
