Eves, Ernest Larry (Ernie)
1946 - Born in June 17th in Windsor, Ontario. Canadian lawyer and Progressive Conservative politician.
1981 - First Elected to Ontario Legislative Assembly.
1995 - Appointed finance minister and deputy premier June.
2002 - Elected Leader of PC Party of Ontario.
- Became the Premier of Ontario on April 15th.
2004 - Ernie Eves remained Progressive Conservative Party leader until September, when he was replaced by John Tory.
2005- He resigned from the provincial legislature, forcing a byelection that would allow his successor to run for a seat in the legislature.
