Erbakan, Necmettin
1926 - Born on the 29th of October in Sinop, Turkey.
1948 - He graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Faculty at the Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul,
Turkey.
1965 - He was appointed as a professor in Istanbul Technical University.
1969 - He was elected as a deputy of Konya, Turkey.
1980 - He and his party were banned from politics.
1990 - He re-emerged following a referendum to lift the ban.
1996 - He became as a prime minister of Turkey.
1997 - He step down as a prime minister of Turkey.
