Earl Bostic
1913 - Born on the 25th of April in Tusla, Oklahoma.
1931 - At the age of 18, he joined Terrence Holder's band.
1942 - He made his first recording.
1945 - He formed his own band and turned to rhythm and blues in the late 1940's.
1951 - His signature hit, "Flamingo" was recorded.
1965 - He died while performing with his band because of heart attack in Rochester, New York, U.S.A.
