1827 - Born in Dublin on the 3rd of September.
1846 - Drew made his first New York appearance.
1848 - John married Louisa Lane. They had two children, John Jr. and Georgiana, both of whom were also accomplished actors.
1862 - Died on the 21st of May of a heart attack at his home in Philadelphia, at the early age of 34. He was buried in Nation Peace Cemetery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
