1963 - Skeeter's hits include The End of the World, I'm Saving My Love, and I Can't Stay Mad at You.

1973 - She was suspended for a short time after protesting the arrest of what she termed "Jesus Freaks".

1993 - Author of the book "Bus Far to Kentucky".

2004 - Died on September 19th in Alive Hospice, Nashville, Tennessee from breast cancer.
