Educated at Eton College where he became associated with William Pitt the Elder.

 

1724 – Orphaned at age 16.

 

1726 – He went on a Grand Tour of Europe.

 

1755? – Hounder and leader of the Hell-fire Club (also the Mad Monks of Medmenham).

 

1762-1763 – Became British Chancellor of the Exchequer.

 

He commissioned West Wycombe Park in Buckinghamshire.

 

1777 – Served as an honorary vice president of London’s charitable Foundling Hospital until his death.

 

1781 – Francis Dashwood died on 11th of December.
