Daschle, Thomas Andrew (Tom)

1947 - Born on the 9th of December in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

1969 - Graduated in South Dakota State University.

       - He served in the United States Air Force.

1978 - Elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-sixth Congress.

1986 - Served as a Democrat to the United States Senate.

1989 - Became minority leader to the United States Senate.

1992 - He was re-elected to the United States Senate.

2003 - Became majority leader United States Senate.

2004 - He was unsuccessful candidate for reelection in the United States Senate.
