Dascalescu, Constantin
1923 - Constantin Dascalescu was born in Breaza on the 2nd of July.
1982 - 1989 - Served as Prime Minister of Romania during the communist rule of Nicolae Ceauºescu.
1989 - Ousted from office during a popular revolt along with Ceausescu.
1991 - After the revolution, he was sentenced to life in prison.
1991 - He was released after five years on medical grounds.
2003 - He died on 15th of May in Bucharest of multiple heart ailments at age 80.
