1903 – Born on the 20th of November in Peterhof, Russia.
She was trained at the two major schools in Leningrad, the Soviet State Ballet and Russian Imperial Ballet School.
Her first professional post was as a member of the St. Petersburg’s Imperial Ballet.
1924 – Picked up by Serge Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes; Danilova as a dancer, Balanchine as a choreographer.
1951 – Her last ballet performance was happened this year.
1958 – She made her Broadway musical comedy debut in Oh, Captain!
1964 – Balanchine hired her to teach at the School of American Ballet.
1989 – Retired in her post in the American Ballet.
