       - Married to Miss Adda Bush.

 

1896-1932 - Became the 1st president of Ralston Purina Co.

 

1924 - Danforth and a group of friends organized the American Youth Foundation.

 

1927 - He established the Danforth Foundation as a national educational philanthropy.

 

1932-1956 - Served as chairman of Ralston Purina Co.

 

1955 - He died on Christmas Eve at the age of 85.
