Danes, Claire Catherine

1979 - Born Claire Catherine Danes on the 12th of April in Manhattan to Chris Danes a computer consultant and former architectural photographer and Carla a day care provider, painter, and textile designer.

1998 - Attended Yale University for 2 years as a psychology major, but she dropped out of Yale to focus on her film career.

1994 - Portrayed the role as Angela Chase in the television drama series "My So-Called Life".

     - She starred in the movie "Little Women" as Beth March.

1996 - Played the role as Juliet in Baz Luhrmann's film "William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet".

1997 - Appered in the film "U Turn" as Jenny.

1998 - Played the role of Cossette in "Les Miserables".

1999 - Made her first role in an animated feature with the English version of "Princess Mononoke".

     - She took the lead role in "Brokedown Palace", alongside Kate Beckinsale and Bill Pullman.
