1849 - John Wilson Danenhower, was born on the 30th of September in Chicago, Illinois.
1870 - He served in the European Squadron aboard both the Plymouth and the Juniata.
Assigned to the Portsmouth surveying party in the North Pacific.
1875 - Assigned to the U.S. Naval Observatory.
1879 - He attained the rank of master and then lieutenant.
1886 - Accepted appointment to the United States Naval Academy.
1887 - He died on 20th of April at United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland.
