Dalen, Nils Gustaf

1869 - Born on the 30th of November in Stenstorp, in present day Falköping municipality, Sweden.

1892 - He invented a milk-fat tester to check milk quality of the milk delivered.

1896 - Admitted to the Chalmers University of Technology where he earned his Master's degree and a Doctorate.

1901 - Married Elma Persson, they had two daughters and two sons,Gunnar and Anders.

1906 - Chief Engineer at the Gas Accumulator Company (manufacturer and distributor of acetylene).

1909-1937 - Managing Director of the renamed company Svenska Aktiebolaget Gasaccumulator (AGA).

1912 - Dalén was blinded in an Acetylene explosion.

       - Awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for his automatic regulator for lighthouses and buoys.

1922 - He invented the AGA cooker

1937 - Nils Gustaf Dalén died on 9th of December.
