Dale Malone

Dale Malone graduated from the University of Texas, Austin, in 1992. Upon graduation Dale was hired by the company 3M and spent 6 years in charge of optimizing processes to reduce energy and waste. Corporate experience at 3M Company included: trained on JIT manufacturing, inventory reduction techniques, changeover reduction, non-value added analysis, and Pareto analysis. Dale was also the past President at Custom Quality Marble. Dan is experienced in managing and growing small-medium sized businesses. Specialties include: business management, operational analysis, inventory management systems, ERP and CRM on demand software by Netsuite, franchising, and retail store displays. Dale enjoys applying the best use of technology to achieve operational efficiencies as well as improve productivity. He has worked to implement a "continuous improvement" culture in all companies owned.

Dale Malone is the current managing partner at EcoBox Company. He works to find ways to reduce both waste and energy.  As he states, "We do this for environmental reasons as well as profitability reasons.  The "reusing" of used boxes is a perfect example of saving energy, resources, and money for our customers." Dale's goal is to expand the EcoBox concept by franchising in the next 5 years.

EcoBox was established in 1994. The company started out with a stack of used moving boxes, a storage shed, a Buick Riviera, and a fantastic idea. For the past 15 years, EcoBox has been selling new and good used moving boxes to customers and saving them money. They also service custom orders complete with printing, provide free next day local delivery and/or pickup at a retail store, and special pricing for their business customers EcoBox is now the largest supplier of new and used moving boxes and shipping supplies in Central Texas.
