Dahanayake, Wijeyananda

1851 - He died in Bry-sur-Marne, France on the 10th of July.

1902 - Wijeyananda Dahanayake was born on the 22nd of October.

1959-1960 - Served as prime minister of Ceylon.

1960 - Forced to resign in his post six months later after elections.

1997 - Dahanayake died in Galle District, southern Sri Lanka, on 4th of May.
