1903 - Born on the 1st of August, in Baltimore, Maryland.
1923 - Attended the parochial schools and Calvert Business College in Baltimore.
Thomas worked as a broker and insurance agent in Baltimore.
1926-1933 - Served as a member of the Maryland State House of Delegates.
1933-1934 - Thomas was appointed as General Deputy Collector of Internal Revenue.
1935-1938 - Elected to serve on the Baltimore City Council for three years.
1944-1968 - Delegate to every Democratic National Convention.
1939-1968 - Elected to the 76th Congress and to the four succeeding Congresses.
1958 - Defeated for re-nomination by the Democrats in the March primary elections.
1961-1969 - Thomas served on the Federal Renegotiation Board (FRB).
1987 - Retired from politics and settled in Baltimore and died on the 23rd of August.
