1945 – He was born on the 20th day of December this year.
1973 - He joined the pre-Kiss group Wicked Lester.
1976 - He is given co-writer credit for the ballad "Beth," which was a Top 10 hit for Kiss.
1970 – He became increasingly frustrated with his role in the group.
1980 - He left Kiss in May this year to begin a solo career.
1995 - He performed with Kiss during their appearance on MTV Unplugged.
2001 – He remained a member of Kiss until this year,when he left over a contract dispute.
2002 - He rejoined the band in 2002, but departed again in March 2004 when Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons opted not to renew his contract.
2006 – His most recent public appearance was a short interview on VH-1's Rock Honors special in which he talks about the role he had in Kiss and that band's longevity.
