1771 - Ordained as a Baptist minister.
1777 - Was the pastor of Blue Run Church.
1784 - Incorporated the town of Lebanon near the site of McClelland's Fort in the Virginia legislature.
1808 - The community went into a decline after the death of Elijah Craig on May 18th.
