1863 - He was enlisted in the "7th Kansas Calvary Regiment" and fought with them on the Union side for the rest of the Civil War.
1866 - He married Louisa Frederici.
1868 - He was employed as a scout by the United States Army.
1872 - He received a "Medal of Honor" (highest military decoration awarded by the United States).
1873 - He entered show business.
1883 - He founded "Buffalo Bill's Wild West," a circus-like attraction that toured annually in North,
Omaha, Nebraska U.S.A.
1887 - He performed in London to celebrate the Jubilee year of Queen Victoria (Queen Of The United Kingdom).
1917 - On the 10th of January, he died of kidney failure in Denver.
