Chirac, Jacques Rene

1932 - Born on the 29th of November in Paris, France.

1950 - Finished High School in Lycee Louis-le-Grand, Paris.

1954 - Graduated BA Political Science, Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris.

1956 - Married Bernadette Chodron de Courcel.

1973-1974 - Served as French Minister Agriculture.    

1974 - French Minister Interior.

         - Became the Prime Minister of France 27th of May.

1976 - Founded Rally for the Republic party (RPR).    

1977 - Elected as Mayor of Paris.    

1979 - Member of the European Parliament 10th of June, he resigned 1980.    

1983 - For the second time he was the Mayor of Paris.    

1988 - Prime Minister of France.    

1989-1995 - Served his third term as Mayor of Paris.    

1995 - Served as President of France.    

1996 - Recipient of the Ig Nobel Prize Peace.

2002 - Assassination Attempt Paris, France.    

2005 - He suffered in a minor Stroke.
