Chaudhry-Mahendra
1942 - Born in Ba on the 2nd of February, He was educated at Tavua Indian School and Shri Vivekanand High School.
1998 - He represented the National Farmers Union at the Cairns Group farm Leaders meeting held in Sydney
- He advocated for the continuing special assistance to developing countries/economies like Fiji
1988-1992 - became the National Secretary for the Fiji Trade Union Congress prime minister of Fiji.
1999-2000 - 1st ethnically Indo-Fijan prime minister.
1997 - Member of the 1997 parliamentary select committee.
2000 - His government got overthrown by a military coup headed by George Speight.
- He's under captive by rebels and deposed.
