1926 - Oona O'Neill Chaplin, was the daughter of Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Eugene O'Neill and his second wife, writer Agnes Boulton. She later became the fourth wife of actor Charlie Chaplin.
1942 - At the age of seventeen, she was named "Debutante of the Year".
1943 - Married to Charlie Chaplin.
1952 - Attending the London premiere of his film Limelight in September, she was accused of "Communist sympathies" and barred re-entry into the United States.
1975 - Three years after briefly returning to the United States to receive a special Academy Award.
1991 - Died on the 27th of September.
