Castelo Branco, Humberto de Alencar
1900 - Born on the 20th of September. Brazilian military officer and politician.
1918 - He joined the Brazilian Army.
1938 - He became Colonel in the Brazilian Expeditionary Force, during World War II.
1963 - He was appointed Chief of Staff of the Brazilian Army.
1964 - He was a leader of coup d'état to overthrow João Goulart (27th President of Brazil).
- On the 15th of April, he was elected as a 29th President of Brazil.
1967 - Died on July 18th in an air crash at Fortaleza.
