Casgrain, Thomas Chase (Thomas)
1852 - He was born at Detroit on the 28th of July.
1877 - He was admitted to the Quebec Bar and received the governor general's medal in the same year.
- He was named professor of law at Université Laval two years later.
1885 - He was named to the legal team representing the Crown in the trial of Louis Riel.
1886 - He was elected for Quebec County and for Montmorency.
1891-1892 - He was attorney general in the provincial cabinet.
1896-1904 - He represented Montmorency as a Conservative Member of Parliament in the Canadian House of Commons.
1914 - He served as Postmaster General.
1916 - He died on the 29th of December.
