Carvajal Prado Patricio(Prado)
1916 - Vice Admiral Patricio Carvajal Prado was born.
1931 - He joined the navy, where he was a classmate of future Admiral José Toribio Merino, and together they were commissioned as ensigns.
1941-1955 - He was promoted to lieutenant to captain and to commander.
1958 - He was commissioned to study anti-submarine warfare.
1960 - He was the commander of the training-ship "Esmeralda".
1966 - He was designed as Naval Attache to London.
1967 - He was the Navy Chief of Staff.
1973 - He was the Armed Forces General Chief of Staff.
1973 - He was appointed as Minister of Defense.
1974-1978 - He was also Chilean Minister of Foreign Affairs.
1994 - Carvajal committed suicide after a long bout with cancer on the 16th of July.
