Carlson, Arne Helge (Arne)

1934 - He was born on the 24th of September in New York City, U.S.A.   

1957 - He graduated in Williams College in Massachusetts.   

1965 - He served one term in the Minneapolis City Council.   

         - He married Barbara Carlson.   

1967 - He ran for Mayor in Minneapolis as a Republican, but he was unsuccessful.   

1971 - He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives.   

1979 - He became State Auditor of Minnesota.   

1991 - He became the 37th Governor of Minnesota.
