Caputo, Dante Maria
1943 - Born on November 25th in Buenos Aires. Argentinian politician and diplomat.
- Mr. Caputo received a doctorate in political sociology from the Institute of Higher Latin American Studies of the University of Paris and studied international relations at Tufts and Harvard Universities in Boston, Massachusetts.
1968 - He appointed as Foreign Minister. Worked in an expert capacity for the United Nations and the Organization of American States.
- He taught political sociology and public administration at the Universidad del Salvador In Buenos Aires and the University of Buenos Aires.
1972 - He served as Director of the Contra for Social Investigations on States and Administration in Argentina.
- Has supervised several national and International research projects on the problems of democratization.
- He has served as an Associate Researcher for the National Centre for Scientific Investigation of France.
- He received his Doctorate degree in Sociology at University of Paris.
1973 - He was appointed as an investigator at the Di Tella institute.

2006 - Dante Caputo was appointed OAS Assistant Secretary for Political Affairs in March.
