Calderón Hinojosa, Felipe de Jesús
1962 - Born in Morelia, Michoacán, on the 18th of August, the first son of Luis Calderón and María del Carmen Hinojosa González.
1986 - Occupied top position in the party as National Youth Leader of the PAN.
1988-1991 - He was a representative of the Legislative Assembly of the Federal District and federal deputy.
1993 - Married to Margarita Zavala on January 2nd.
- Felipe Calderón was general director of Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Públicos (BANOBRAS) and and later the Energy Secretary.
- He became the Secretary General.
1995 - He ran for the governorship of Michoacán.
1996-1999 - Served as national president of the PAN National Action Party.
2000 - He was part of the 58th Federal Period of Office, in which he served as Parliamentary Coordinator of the PAN and President of the Council of Political Coordination.
2003-2004 - Served as Mexican energy minister.
2005 - He was elected PAN candidate for the presidency.
2006 - Declared President-elect of Mexico on September 5th from the National Action Party (PAN).
