1650 – George Burroughs was born.

1670 – He graduated at Harvard University.

1680 – Became the minister of Salem Village.

1690 – He lived at Falmouth until the Indians destroyed, when he re-moved to Wells, Maine.

1692 – In May, during the Salem witch trials, on the accusation of some personal enemies in his former congregation who had sued him for debt, Burroughs was arrested and charged, among other offences, with extraordinary lifting and such feats of strength as could not be done without diabolical assistance.

         – Died on the 19th of August.
