Burnham, Linden Forbes Sampson (Linden)
1923 - He was born on the 20th of February.

1942 - He won the Guiana Scholarship as the colony’s top student.
1948 - Burnham received a law degree from the University of London.
1950 - Burnham, along with Indo-Guyanese labor leader Cheddi Jagan, established the People's Progressive Party.
1952 - He became the president of the party's affiliated trade union, the British Guiana Labour Union.
1958-1961 - Burnham went on to form the People's National Congress entering its first election under that name.
1964 - He was premier of Guyana.
1966 - He became prime minister of Guyana .
1980 - He was president of Guyana.
1985 - He died on the 6th of August.
