1925 - Born on August 7th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. American songwriter, with her husband, Boudleaux Bryant, formed one of the most successful and prolific songwriting teams in history.

1945 - She was working as an elevator operator at a Milwaukee hotel when she met Boudleaux Bryant, a jazz and country violinist from Georgia who was performing at the hotel.

         - Married to Diadorius Boudleaux Bryant on September 5th and soon he began setting her poems to music.

1950 - They were persuaded to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee.

1982 - They also wrote the classic country song, "Rocky Top" which became the official state song for Tennessee and the "fight song" for the University of Tennessee sports teams.

1987 - Felice and Boudleaux were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, just a few months before Boudleaux's death.

1991 - They were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

         - The Nashville Arts Foundation honored her with their "Living Legend Award".

2003 - Died of cancer on April 22nd in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
