Browning, Kurt
1966 – He was born on the 18th day of June this year in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.
1988 – He represented Canada in three Winter Olympics, (finishing 8th overall).
1990 – His other achievements are numerous, including three Canadian Professional Championships, three World Professional Championships, a Lou Marsh Trophy for top Canadian Athlete.
1994 – He was given the privilege of carrying the Canadian flag during the opening ceremonies of the games in Lillehammer, Norway.
1996 – He married Sonia Rodriguez, a principal dancer with the National Ballet of Canada, on the 30th day of June this year.
1998 - He is also the recipient of American Skating World Professional Skater of the Year Award this year.
2000 – He was inducted into Canada's Figure Skating Hall of Fame this year.
2001 – He received a Gustav Lussi Award from the Professional Skaters' Association this year.
2003 – His son Gabriel was born on the 12th day of July this year.
2006 – He had a long rivalry with Brian Boitano. At the Ice Wars competition, Browning narrowly defeated Boitano.
