Harry Browne
1933 - Born in New York City on the 17th of June.
1970 - He came to prominence, with his first book, How You Can Profit From The Coming Devaluation, which correctly predicted the devaluation of the dollar and subsequent inflation.

1973 - His second book was How I Found Freedom In An Unfree World, which focused on maximizing personal liberty.
1974 - How You Can Profit from a Monetary Crisis.
1990 - He continued to author books and articles on investing In all, Browne wrote 13 books and sold 2 million copies of his books.
1995 - Why Government Doesn't Work.
1996-2000 - He was a U.S. Presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party.
- He received 485,798 votes or 0.5% of the vote and 384,516 votes or 0.4% of the vote.
- Browne won a majority of the vote in the town of Searsburg, Vermont.
2006 - He died at his home on the evening on the 1st of March, at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Browne, and his daughter, Autumn Browne.
