Brown, Aaron Venable (Aaron)
1795 - He was born on the 15th of August.
1814 - He graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was valedictorian of the class.
1821-1827 - He was a member of the Tennessee State Senate.
1831-1835 - He was the Tennessee House of Representatives.
1839-1845 - He was a member of the United States House of Representatives for three terms.
1845 - He won the Democratic nomination for governor and was elected.
1850 - He did not participate further in statewide elected politics, but was selected as a delegate to the Nashville Convention held at Nashville's Maxwell House Hotel.
1852 - He was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention where Franklin Pierce and William R. King were nominated.
1859 - He died on the 8th of March.
