1935 – Brodie was born in San Francisco, California on the 14th of August.

1956 – He graduated and was selected as a consensus All-American the same year.

1957 – He first appeared with the 49ers as a rookie, seeing limited action.

1960 – He was among the leading passers in the league throughout.

1965 – His best statistical year when he led the League in passing average (3,112 yards) and touchdowns (30).

         – He appeared in the Pro Bowl.

1970 – He received the NFL’s Most Valuable Player Award.

1985 – He retired from his football career, Brodie competed as a professional golfer on the Senior PGA Tour.

1986 – He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
